Following the penultimate Sunday eviction in the ongoing Big Brother Naija ‘All-Stars’ edition, Mercy Eke, Ilebaye, CeeC, Cross, Pere, and Adekunle have all made it to the finale. Naija News reports that Pere, Adekunle, Soma, Venita and Angel were up for eviction last week, and three housemates exited the house. Angel, Soma and Venita were evicted by the show house, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, after securing the least votes for the week.

The former Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano on Thursday met with the former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko and the ex-national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Victor Umeh. This is coming after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) granted Obiano bail after spending six days in their custody. The anti-graft agency released the former Governor on Wednesday night after meeting his bail condition which saw his passport seized.

At least 3 people have been reported dead after suspected Boko Haram gunmen attacked a community in southern part of Borno state, local security sources in the area said. Michael Emmanuel, a vigilante operative in the area, speaking with Premium Times said the assailants stormed Yaza-Kumaza village at about 4 p.m Sunday, February 19 . He said many villagers who fled into nearby bushes as at the attackers opened fire, had not returned home by 10p.
